Put This in Your Carry On

We finish off our European adventure in Salento for a wedding. Italian food, music and friends send us out in style.

We take a few minutes to talk about parts of our homeland that we miss. Spoiler alert - it's food and people.

We drop off our beat up rental and fly to Italy to road trip down the eastern coast from Bologna. Caroline practices her Italian and Chris nods and smiles.

We discover Western Crete, crumbling ruins, naturist beaches and spinach pies. Chris abandons all road rules and Caroline does a peacock impression.

Our host in Naxos makes our stay, with family meals and Naxos charm. We now head to Santorini and catch up with the most popular of the Greek isles, seeing ancient ruins and clifftop hiking paths. Yamas!

We go from Edinburgh to Athens to heat things up and find good food, people and prices. See the ruins and the "turtoises" with us as we make our way to our first Greek island stop, Naxos.

We're joined by our friends from back home to travel through the Scottish highlands. The Isle of Skye, Loch Ness and Edinburgh are all fair game as we see shaggy cows, castles, pubs and mountains.

Chris and Caroline ride across Ireland with Chris's parents. We visit the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland's stud farm and the perfect sweater in Galway. Caroline talks music, museums and shows. Chris talks about a couple of things besides Guinness.

Glasgow brings music, museums, porridge and accents. Hear about a couple of cancelled flights and how we don't know what haggis is.

Cornwall, cliffs, and clotted cream are all covered as we travel along the coastline, before trying to brave the Beast from the East and make it up to Glasgow for March.
