Little did we (or you, or any other parent in the world) ever imagine the headache smart phones would create in our lives. Do any of these lines sound familiar to you?

"Please look at me when we're talking."
"You know the rules. No phones at the dinner table."
"Why don't you put that thing away and pay attention?"
"I'm sorry but there is no way you can do homework well and Snapchat all night long."
"We never should have given you that thing."
"Why don't you pick up when I call?"
"Hello? Are you there? Can you please for the love of god answer my texts?"

We actually thought we could avoid all of these troubles by asking our kids to sign an iPhone contract spelling out where and how they could use their smart phone. BWAHAHAHAHA. The joke was on us!
