Why is it that everything else always comes first.. Whether it's work, school, family, etc. That's always our number one priority. But shouldn't YOU be your own number one priority?
Doesn't it make sense that if you aren't at your best, you can't show up to other things at your best? Isn't that how it works? If you are only operating at 50%, doesn't that also mean your work is operating at only 50%? It's simple math.
Pouring into yourself will actually fuel you with energy. It may seem like so much extra effort to better yourself, but long run it'll give you the energy stores you need to show up at your best to all of your top priorities.
