Air Date October 7, 2022.  Since the end of the second world war, nuclear posturing has been used to gain political leverage, although we came close to unintended disaster during the Cuban missile crisis. Now, Vladimir Putin appears to be consciously and compulsively backing himself and Russia into the inevitable use of tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine and Europe. The results would be catastrophic beyond comprehension.  We can only hope there are cooler heads operating behind closed doors and in the back channels of power.
