Born in the Philippines and based in Singapore, singer-songwriter Marian Carmel has an innate ability to evoke emotions. Her ethereal vocals breathe life into her songs which are influenced by the story-driven songwriting styles of Laufey, beabadoobee, Olivia Rodrigo, NIKI, Lizzy McAlpine & boygenius.

Most recently, the indie-pop artist was featured as Spotify EQUAL’s cover artist of the month, representing women in Singapore and Malaysia. This landed her on the New York Times Square Billboard, and on the Spotify EQUAL Global Playlist. Also a part of the Spotify RADAR Programme, Marian released numerous singles and collaborations in 2023, solidifying her position in the region as one of the most promising singer-songwriters and topliners from Singapore.
