Neutron stars are amazing objects, with more than a solar mass of matter crammed into a ball the size of a city. Light-house-like radio beacons from many of these objects allow us to observe them as radio pulsars. When a pulsar orbits another neutron star or a white dwarf, opportunities open up for verifying the predictions of Einstein's theory of General Relativity. Ingrid will show how these state-of-the-art tests of relativity are achieved, and anticipate what might be accomplished with systems hoped to be discovered using new powerful radio telescopes.
