Puzzlemeant
in the darkest corner
of the earth
a match is lit
and it reveals nothing
but a lighter place
when the fire dies
darkness overwhelms
the space again
in the brightest spot
in the universe
some ink is spilled
and stains the
whiteness forever
a glass of wine
half empty means
the flavour's not exquisite
or a glass of wine
half full means there is
a palatte teasing encounter
yet to come
a bookmark is a
stopping point for boredom
or a precious marker
to return to and re-enter
the fantasy yet finished
a camera captures
the flaws that nature
hides by the blurring
of human sight
or a camera uncovers
the beauty that the
naked eye is blind to
a virgin is an unexperienced
and clumsy lover
a virgin is the untouched
paradise that waits a man
who knows just how
to bring the well
to overflowing
a poem is thought
compressed into
orderly lines
or a poem is the
free flow of unspoken
emotion that splashes
over one's soul.
And often evolves
Into a song
Such are just some
of the many puzzlements
That life offers us
