Unfortunately, politics this year have been far from. Oh, who are we kidding!? It has been sometime since politics were actually fun to talk about, more like they are a pain in ther rear and must be talked about so we don't get lost and confused with what our elected and appointed officials are doing. Take the wording on the 2016 Nebraska ballot regarding the death penalty. It reads as if voting yes would repeal the death penalty - it's already been repealed. The ballot is asking citizens to vote yes to keep that repeal or vote no to bring back the death penalty. Confusing language abounds on ballots all over the country.

Religion keeps tangling with politics, and the US is no expection to that. The fight against Sharia law (Muslim laws) infiltrating various city, state, and even federal levels has resulted in Christian laws becoming the norm in some of those areas. There is no difference between the two - other than the religion.
