In this episode, I address the commonly heard statement: “Dr. Kristy, I was really good for the first few weeks and then I had to travel, work late, got sick (fill in the blank) and stopped doing all the things you suggested"
l share my belief that setbacks in treatment are normal and to be expected. The big work is when we address the behaviour, learn from the experience and make different choices from this newfound wisdom. The true failure is if you give up, throw in the towel and never try again.
