Pastor I have one question. How I can live this life with joyful

Why are Christians always told they have to be tested and have to have a life of suffering pastor?

Why can’t it be a joyful life where they worship their God and still get to live a life of prosperity and happiness. Why does it always have to be suffering?

The Bible continually talks about being tested, walking the narrow path etc etc. Everybody says Christianity always preaches suffering Is this what God intended for his loved ones?
