After founding Hemp Oil Canada in 1998, Shaun grew the company to great success, eventually becoming the first company in the hemp industry to receive Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS). Since selling the business in 2017, Shaun is now the Director at Merit Functional Foods and is passionate about helping other founders along their journey.
