This is why we shouldn't be afraid. There are two possibilities: one is that there's more to life than the physical life, that our souls "will find an even higher place to dwell" when this life is over. If that's true, there's no reason to fear failure or death.

The other possibility is that this life is all there is. And if that's true, then we have to really live it - we have to take it for everything it has and "die enormous" instead of "living dormant," as I said way back on "Can I Live." Either way, fear is a waste of time.

I love music and and listen to a lot of great musicians of all types and genres. If you check my playlist you will find a broad range of music. I listen to music that does something for me.

I love quotes that move me as well. I love quotes that move me, that do something for me. Jay Z creates great music, great business, and great quotes. The quote is inspiring because it brings up a point.

Don't be afraid! Fear is a waste of time. Whatever that fear is, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of public speaking, fear of bees (there's a story to that - listen to Episode 6 - Shoo Bee Doo Bee Doo Bee Doo ), it is a waste of your time to let it bother you and keep you from doing what you need to do to achieve your goals.

I like Jay Z's points. There are two possibilities - That there is a higher calling to life, and so there is no reason to fear failure or death.  If we have a higher calling and we can expect to dwell in a higher place than we can only strive to achieve higher things while we are here.

The other possibility is that there is nothing bigger than now! If we only have this one life, this one chance, then as Jay Z says, We need to really live it! We need to strive to take life and run with it. We need to "die enormous" not in a mediocre life, "living dormant" as Jay Z says. Wouldn't you rather die remarkable than mediocre.

Go Out Today and An Live Enormous! Live a Remarkable Life! Be Remarkable, Be Extraordinary.
