Wiser words have never been said. We can know what we want but knowing it doesn't achieve it, we must apply the knowledge that we have learned to be able to make it worthwhile.

Just because you would do it or have the intent to do it doesn't get it done. Many people have the intention of doing things. They are willing to do things.  Did something get in the way? Did time get away from you? Did something else become a priority?

If a library is full of books and the doors never open, is that library be serving a purpose; other then housing papers or electronic files? If you are willing to do something and it doesn't get done, did you just waste that will?

Like von Goethe said, knowing is not enough, willingness is not enough; we must apply, we must do.
