Does it seem like I'm in a theme here, or is it maybe a rant. Several of my last quotes have been about doing what you love because if you do what you love, you aren't really working. I think that is important in life. To do what you enjoy.
I have been involved in work that I didn't enjoy. It was hard to get up in the morning, it was excructing waiting for the day to end. I had become a disengaged worker. That wasn't like me. I had for so long been a model employee. I had been a leader and now I felt like a loser. I wasn't enjoying what I did for work and it made me think. How do I get back to being the engaged person I was when I enjoyed what I did for work?
I had to find my passion. What were my strengths, what were the activities I enjoyed? When I looked into my heart, my mind, I remembered the activities I was doing when I was the happiest. I started writing down these activities and how they made me feel.
It was time to start working on a career that I had passion for and that brought fulfilment to me again.
Do you have a pasison? What gives you the most fulfilment in life? If you aren't doing it for work, then maybe you should be. Can you do it as a career? Can you make money at it?
If you want to enjoy your career, your life, you must have fulfilment. You must have the feeling that you have lived a life or satisfaction, of fulfilment.
Would you rather be doing something else?
Find what you are good at, what you love to do, then find out if you can make a career of it.
