Me Time is joining Quack Squawk Honk this month on an incredible EP project called Feminine Rage. The Feminine Rage project represents the anger and oppression that fem/queer individuals and marginalized communities feel towards the patriarchy. Me Time has a track with Kasey Riot called "Shadows", with her own original vocals. The song soundtracks the climactic transformation of six femme archetypes as they confront their inner shadows (jealousy, shame, martyrdom) to reclaim their collective power. "Shadows" is about the process of confronting the parts of ourselves we've been taught to hide, reject, or fear. Our shadows are often shaped by patriarchal systems that pit women against one another as competition. Bass Witch created a theatre-on-fire performance by the same name where each woman wrestled with her shadow on stage: jealousy, martyrdom, shame, and perfectionism. It was important to end the show by recognizing that when we face our own shadows, we stop seeing each other as enemies. We build networks of support instead, and that's how we reclaim our collective power.

Me Time is an anti-disciplinary DJ, producer, and experience designer working at the intersection of electronic music, theatre, and participatory art. Her large-scale immersive works have transformed office buildings, greenhouses, abandoned airports, summer camps, and festival grounds into participatory worlds where thousands of people become part of the story. As co-founder of Bass Witch, she creates feminist fairytales through original bass music, theatre-on-fire, and ritual storytelling, crafting cinematic spectacles that invite audiences to confront their shadows, reclaim their power, and dance new worlds into being.

Raised in Lutruwita/Tasmania, Australian-Canadian artist HARRISII has transplanted his unique sound to the heart of Toronto, Canada. Since becoming a resident DJ for MVMNT Ltd, his name is a regular fixture in Toronto venues. He’s currently breaking ground in his home city of Nipaluna/Hobart, carving his way into the local nightlife. Born into a musical lineage, HARRISII is the son of a music teacher, an influence that shaped his early years and ignited a passion for sonic exploration.
