Doctor Chow led the IBM quantum team that developed and deployed IBM Quantum System two, the first modular quantum computer, and a major milestone towards quantum centric supercomputing. He was awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship for his study at Yale, where he worked on implementing the first quantum processor with superconducting qubits. He joined IBM research as a research staff member in 2010, and in 2012, he was recognized in the Forbes 30 under 30 technology list.
