The Euro 2016 soccer championship kicks off in just a few days time. But, ahead of the tournament, there’s little sense of euphoria. In fact, many parts of the country are in the grip of chaos.
This after the CGT trade union declared war on the labour market reforms that President Francois Hollande and his government say they are determined to press through. Meanwhile, the people of France are still living in fear of another possible terror attack.
