Hello Saints, today's episode lays out six qualifications for being a modern apostle for the Lord. The case of the continuity of the apostolic position is first made, reminding us of how the functions of the apostle are as necessary now as they were in the 1st century. Following this, we look at how the modern apostle must have a personal revelation of God and the Saviour, Jesus Christ. As well as a special revelation of God's word first and foremost. Other qualifications are that they are sent for ministry by the spirit and body of believers, they have an overview of the wider area (as opposed to local) the ministry is based in, they can settle matters of doctrines local churches may face, and they have the special grace to bear the tribulations the church may be experiencing.
