Episode 6: In episode 3 we spoke to Dr MacIsaac about her concerns that measuring quality could distract from patient-centred care if not done properly. In this episode we continue the conversation with 2 guests; we’re talking about quality improvement and how to support and incentivise this at a practice level with associate professor Charlotte Hespe, who has chaired a PHN and is the current Chair of the board of the RACGP. Our first guest is Dr Danielle Butler, Queensland GP and researcher. Danielle has looked at quality of care from a systems perspective, by examining large databases like the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
