Whether we die from COVID or not, we will all invariably die. The Apostle Paul understood this as he faced his own certain death toward the end of the second letter to the pastor Timothy. He also understood that though we have no choice about death, we do have a choice about life.

After giving Timothy several solid reasons for continuing to serve the Lord, he gives him his final great reason – that his life would be ending soon. He showed both Timothy and us the importance of one’s choice of approach to life, especially when death leaves us none.
