Quantum entanglement is when two atoms, separated by a substantial distance are hit by a beam of light. The atoms respond to the light & their electrons get excited & jump into a higher energy state...this causes the absorption of light. The electrons then calm back down & in the process release a light that emanates from within. If there is no response or action, then theres is no absorbing of light & no releasing of light...they remain invisible.If though, atom "b" responds to the light, an entanglement is created with atom "a" that remains. Atom "a" transfers all of its information across the room to atom "b", creating an exact copy of the original.
