Ray Thompson is a karate and kickboxing practitioner who holds blackbelts across nine different martial arts. He represented the U.S. National kickboxing team overseas in 1980. Additionally, he is the father and head coach of current UFC Welterweight Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson.
