21 year old Morehead State University (KY) Communications Major Michelle Thornberry stops by to bring us into the new year of Quarantined, (Yes, I am very much aware there has been a 4.5 month hiatus.) For the first time in Quarantined history I happen to be the one being "interviewed" by my guest for a senior project. We discuss the impacts of media on racism, the BLM group, and free speech. These topics are very nuanced, and their discussion may be hard for some people to listen to. Again though, these conversations are ones that should be held on a routine basis and should NEVER be deemed as Taboo or language we should refrain from having. We can only grow through discourse. It is only by sharing complex ideas and opinions that we can learn and evolve as a species, one race of people, humanity.
