- Quarill - Sugar CoatingI think I really pushed myself to my limits. with this 3. Due to lack of time and inspiration, I neglected these projects for a few months, but turns out it was totally worth spending endless hours forming them into their final shape. After over 15 years in music business, releasing almost a 100 tracks on various labels, I'm super glad to be part of the Adult family.2 min

Many more to come, so watch this space 😉 this time, it's Techno time and I've chosen a track being the first, which's release was a long time overdue. It's available on Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Apple Music as well as on Beatport, Traxsource and on most of the large online record stores. Play it loud ;)4 min
- Quarill - Rendezvous At Nakatomi Plaza (Prev.)There are many outstanding projects I'm currently woring on, but from the housier ones, this is defo one of my favs. It puts such a groove on you, it won't fit ;)5 min
- Quarill - Quantum Entanglement (Preview)I have to say I'm sloooowly getting back to business, so I'm proud to present you one of my current fav project in progress. Recently I came across quite a few decent psytech releases which I've found very inspiring, so my aim was to create something similar but still rather more Techno sounding. Althought it's not quite finished, you'll get the jist of it. Enjoy the first snippet ;)5 min
- Quarill - Quintessential (Preview)Apparently 130+ bpm techno yet again being popular, I've decided to share my first one of the year. Still not finished of course, but later on, I hope I'm gonna get there...like I hope to get on with my other 3498 promising projects as well :D4 min
- Quarill - Viva La Balkan (Preview)I don't recall using trumpet in any of my previous projects during my 20 years of music making....until now. Please welcome my latest tune, which eventually turned out to be quite radio compatible. I'm rushed off my feet to finish it before summer, as this meant to be out by then to fill many dancefloors. Your feedback is more than welcome as usual ;) Link in the comment section.3 min
- Quarill - Sweet Talker (Preview) (Red Noir Records)No time to rest :) Please welcome my first track in 2024. Since I haven't released anything in a while, I'll try to make it up this year. The plan is to release 2 tracks each month, either on Red Noir or on Maintained Altitude, which sounds managable, but see how it goes. The latter is for Techno, I won't forget about that obviously. Until then there's still lots to do...setting up the labels on bandcamp, not to mention social media and distibution. Enjoy this snippet ;)5 min
About Quarill (Official)
From the publisher's feed
Dear Visitor!
My artist name is Quarill (used to be known as Norman Andretti aka Quarill) and I would like to introduce myself as a Techno/House producer from Hungary.
My very first experience with decks was when I was about 13 years old. At the time my musical taste was affected mostly by harder club styles which were popular back then, such as Hard-house, Hardcore and of course the compilations of the famous Thunder- and Terrordomes. These were the ones I`ve grown upon. I haven`t got any instrumental background, except a little drum knowledge. Since I remember I`ve been influenced by electronic music. I`ve started my producing career about 15 years ago, because I felt that I had to make something lasting for the future generations and also wanted to make the Techno scene a bit better by giving something new…so I stared using FL Studio. My first projects sounded quite amateur but all the advices I was getting then, was just enough to keep me going and keep improving.
After many sent demos, I managed to get in touch with Mirzinho, owner of the legendary TechArt and Propeller Records. He was the one who gave me the first opportunity to have a release on his label (Norman Andretti – Back to business EP). After that there was no chance to stop. I felt patronised and I think that`s one of the most uplifting feeling of being a music producer. In a few months I found my way around of getting in touch with more labels and other, bigger producers of the techno scene, which I`m really proud of.
Style-wise I used to play and produce Funkytechno, Hardgroove and percussive Disco Techno, but as these days we all have to keep up with the trend, hence I mostly play and make "business" Techno, Tech-House and House with a touch of funkiness. Perhaps it comes with ageing but I started to appreciate peak times and twisted melodies. As a side project, I also play a listen to various Drum and Bass styles which often appear on my podcasts. Although I'm not trained enough to make tracks in this genre, but I'm on good track of learning, so eventually one day I'm gonna get there :)
As a DJ, I have had gigs in the Checz- Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary and the UK, and I will remain focused to entertain the biggest house/techno-loving nations world-wide.
