Queen Boudica is one of the few historical rebel heroes to rise up against the might of the Roman Empire. Around the year 60AD her tribe the Iceni, led a rebellion in response to the savagery and inhuman treatment of the indigenous British people known as the Celts. Often overlooked by history, Boudica may well have been one of the greatest rebel generals of all time.
