Esther's journey to free her people from genocide, started when she entered the palace and then stood in the hallway of a king. But her journey did not end there, it continued. When Esther stood before the king, it was just the beginning. Esther moved with discernment, wisdom and sensitivity. She moved the battle from the big empty hallway of a king, in to the private dinner room of the palace. She chose the battlefield of intimacy and she kept her eyes on the face of the king. Esther's movements and her strategy teaches us something about our own battles and what to do with our hard times.
