On Monday the Queens Birthday Honours List 2020 was announced. 11 members of our Pasifika community, from across the country were honoured for services to education, health, the arts, youth & cycling to name a few. This morning on Pacific Breakfast we’re blessed to have with us this morning some amazing members of our Pasifika Community who were named in this years honours list:

Prof Alec Joseph Ekeroma Officer of the NZ Order of merit (ONZM) for services to health & the Pacific Community. Lita Foliaki, Honorary Member of the NZ order of merit for services to the Pacific Community. Tagaloasa Tusiata Avia Member of the NZ Order of Merit for services to poetry & the arts, & Emelita Rosita Selena Simeaanamulu Luisi Queens Service Medal (QSM) for services to Youth.
