John Duncan Talbird was a recent residential writer at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. His fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Jabberwock Review, Berkeley Fiction Review, Sycamore Review, and Red Rock Review among others. He is on the editorial board of Green Hills Literary Lantern and a frequent contributor to Quarterly Review of Film and Video. He is an English professor at Queensborough Community College and lives in Brooklyn with his wife, the artist Melinda Yale, and their orange cat, Harold.
