Listen Later

EP011 w/ Khadija Mbowe (she/they) @khadija.mbowe  the artist and content creator taking Youtube by storm talks with  Gia about a lot of topics. Namely, how internet culture can be used as a tool to better understand our history, racism, colorism, tropes, and how to critically analyze the media we're consuming, even if we still love it. They talk about queerness and how it's evolved over the last decade to shape our relationship to our identities and how using 'she/they' as pronouns can reflect a more nuanced understanding of how womanhood is defined and who it doesn't represent.
