👂🏻Colloquial phrases to listen for:

Zut ! ✨= a mild expletive = darn it / drat. Can be used in place of other swear words and is incredibly flexible in that regard. “Zut, j'ai perdu mes clés !” (Drat! I've lost my keys!). Alt. Mince !

Je m’en fiche ✨= cela m'est égal = the colloquial way to say “I don’t care”. Has a slight edge to it so don’t use if you’re trying to be polite at all, but French people say this a dozen times a day. “Ça, c'est pas mes affaires, je m'en fiche.” (That's none of my business, I don't care)

une trouillarde = a chicken /a bit of a coward. Alt. (stronger) un dégonflé = wimp. Want some adjective action? poltron = cowardly “Je vous avertis, je suis un peu poltron” (I’m warning you, I'm a bit of a wimp)
