👂🏻Colloquial phrases to listen for:

jusqu'à midi = until noon. The bliss of not having a 9-to-5 routine eh! Example: "Le weekend, je dors jusqu'à midi sans faute." (On weekends, I sleep until noon without fail.)

surtout = especially. This word is the spice of emphasis in French, turning a simple sentence into a flavorful shot of what really matters. Example: "Surtout depuis que tu souffres tant” (Especially since you’ve suffered so much) “Cela est énorme, surtout à court terme” (This is enormous, especially in the short term)
