What’s the deal with freedom of the press? Are reporters right to complain the First Amendment is being breached?

We talk a little about the ban that President Trump placed on certain news agencies, but allowed others. Is this breaking the freedom of the press, and the right of free speech?

Actually, we have two little topics, but they go along together.

In examining 2 Corinthians 6:6-7, we pull the focus out a little to see these verses in context. The apostle Paul is listing his credentials, and what makes the strongest description of what a true apostle looks like.

Sure, there’s the promise of the truth of God at the center, but it comes from the experience of the list of hardships, trials, tribulations, persecutions, and more all wrapped around it.

We discuss the difference between a hardship, and the kind of trials that James says we should count as joy. Both are important in being a believable and credible ambassador for Christ.

* Character: Using our ambassador powers for good. Not deceit or trickery.
