In many countries today, there are very few families or teachers whose lives have not been interrupted in some way by the widespread drugging of children with prescribed, mind-altering drugs. In the U.S. alone, current estimates are that six million children are being prescribed these drugs for supposedly educational reasons. The sheer magnitude of this drugging effort alone could be enough to convince parents or teachers that there is a potential threat to their child's future; something they know little about, should be wary of, and certainly something to listen to informed advice about. But what are these children suffering from? What do these drugs have to do with learning? What sort of drugs are they? Are they absolutely necessary? Are they safe? Rightfully concerned parents have repeatedly asked these and other questions. This week's show discusses these questions and his non-drug approach for helping children with Dr. Dan L. Edmunds.
