  • 012: Can We Trust What We See in the Sky? An Interview with Mondo Gonzales

How much of what we believe about the heavens have we actually observed for ourselves?

In this episode of Questions At Midnight, I sit down with Mondo Gonzales of Prophecy Watchers for a deep dive into astronomy, astrophotography, Scripture, and some of the controversial questions surrounding what we see when we look up.

Mondo shares how an interest in astronomy eventually helped lead to the Psalm 19 Project, an effort he created and directs through Prophecy Watchers. Using modern telescopes and astrophotography equipment, the project photographs and studies the heavens with the goal of examining astronomical claims firsthand while pointing people toward the biblical message that “the heavens declare the glory of God.”

We talk about the difference between simply looking through a telescope and producing long-exposure astrophotography, why larger telescope apertures reveal objects our eyes cannot see on their own, and how amateur astronomers can make observations without having to rely exclusively on images produced by organizations such as NASA.

Then we get into some of the bigger questions.

What does the Bible mean when it speaks about the firmament or expanse? Does Scripture actually teach a particular shape for the Earth? What happens when Flat Earth claims are compared with direct astronomical observation? Why doesn’t the Sun appear to shrink dramatically as it moves toward the horizon? What can eclipses, planetary observations, constellations, and the movement of objects across the sky tell us?

The Psalm 19 Project has specifically addressed Flat Earth claims and the biblical meaning of the firmament, while using its own equipment and astrophotography as part of that investigation.

We also discuss the astronomy versus astrology, the history of observing and photographing the night sky, the Mazzaroth and constellations, and what Mondo believes Christians can learn by studying the heavens rather than being afraid to ask difficult questions.

Whether you’ve owned telescopes for years or have never looked through one, this conversation is an invitation to go outside, look up, and investigate the heavens for yourself.

  • 011: What Is the Disclosure Agenda? An Interview with Paul Bock

Retired Green Beret Paul Bock, author of The Disclosure Agenda: A Green Beret’s Warning to the Church About UFOs, Aliens, and Their Emerging Religion, joins Questions at Midnight for a deep conversation about what he believes is happening beneath the modern disclosure movement.

Paul shares how his military and intelligence background eventually brought him into direct contact with people deeply involved in the UAP world. What he encountered convinced him that the bigger story may not simply be unidentified craft, government secrecy, or extraterrestrial life, but an entire belief system forming around non-human intelligence.

We discuss the influence of figures such as Steven Greer, the rise of CE-5 and human-initiated contact practices, alleged healings and supernatural encounters, consciousness-based contact, the growing spiritual interpretation of UAP experiences, and why Paul believes Christians need to evaluate these claims carefully through Scripture.

Paul also recounts disturbing personal experiences that occurred while investigating the phenomenon, including an intense episode at that he interpreted as spiritual warfare. He explains why he believes some people involved in the UAP movement may be encountering something genuinely real while potentially misunderstanding the identity and intentions of what they are contacting.

The conversation also explores alleged encounters with entities, miraculous healings, ancient occult traditions, the relationship between physical and spiritual phenomena, biblical accounts of supernatural beings, and the possibility that extraordinary experiences themselves can become powerful tools of deception.

But much of this episode is ultimately about the Church.

If millions of people are searching for answers about UFOs, non-human intelligence, consciousness, and supernatural encounters, what happens when Christians have nothing to say? Paul argues that ignoring the subject creates a vacuum that other belief systems are already filling.

We also discuss how Christians should respond to people caught up in these ideas, why disagreement should never become hatred toward the people involved, and why Ephesians 6:12 remains central: the real battle is not against flesh and blood.

  • 010: "Horns Grew Out of the Top of His Head." An Interview with Joshua Owens

This episode contains discussion of abuse, addiction, suicide, sexual themes, and disturbing experiences related to deliverance ministry.

What happens when spiritual warfare stops being something you read about and becomes something you experience firsthand?

In Episode 10 of Questions at Midnight, I sit down with Pastor Joshua Owens, founder and lead pastor of MostHope Ministries and head of the MostHope Deliverance Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Joshua shares his remarkable journey from a troubled life of drugs and crime that ultimately led him to prison, to an encounter with Jesus Christ that radically changed the direction of his life. We talk about his own experience with deliverance from demonic oppression, how those experiences shaped his understanding of the spiritual realm, and how they eventually became part of his calling to help others.

From there, the conversation goes deep into spiritual warfare, demonic entities, deliverance ministry, discernment, and some of the extraordinary situations Joshua says he has encountered while ministering to people.

And yes, that includes the experience behind the title:

“Horns Grew Out of the Top of His Head”.

This is a conversation about darkness, but more importantly, it is about hope, freedom, and the authority of Jesus Christ. Joshua’s story is one of a life transformed and a past that became part of a ministry now dedicated to helping others find freedom.

  • 009: Are We Fighting the Wrong Enemy?

In this personal episode, I share how God unexpectedly led me into studying and teaching spiritual warfare, how that journey changed my walk with Him, and how it opened doors to help people facing spiritual torment. We’ll also confront a difficult question: Are Christians so busy fighting each other that we’ve lost sight of who Scripture says the real enemy is?

  • 008: The Day The Sun Stood Still

Did Mars once pass dangerously close to Earth?

In one of the Bible’s most extraordinary accounts, Joshua 10 describes the sun standing still, the moon stopping, and great stones falling from heaven as God fought for Israel. But what actually happened that day?

In this episode of Questions at Midnight, we explore one of the most controversial theories ever proposed. Drawing from the work of Donald Patten, Stuart Harris, and Immanuel Velikovsky, we examine the hypothesis that ancient planetary catastrophes may lie behind some of history’s greatest mysteries. Along the way, we discuss Joshua’s Long Day, Mars as the ancient “god of war,” worldwide catastrophe traditions, Gulliver’s Travels and its curious reference to the two moons of Mars, and the evidence both supporting and challenging these ideas.

More importantly, we ask what Scripture actually says—and what it doesn’t. Whether these theories withstand scrutiny or not, the biblical message remains unchanged: God is sovereign over creation, and He fought for Israel.

Join us as we separate biblical fact from historical hypothesis, weigh the evidence, and ask whether one of the greatest miracles in Scripture may have unfolded in ways we have only begun to imagine.

  • 007: "I Didn’t Tell Anyone." An Interview with Leah Smith

For years, Leah Smith kept one extraordinary experience to herself.

In this deeply personal interview, she shares publicly for the first time the story of a daytime UFO encounter she witnessed while driving through rural Oklahoma. What began as an unexplained sighting was followed by a series of unsettling supernatural events that deeply affected her spiritual life and left her searching for answers.

Together, we discuss why she remained silent for so many years, the fear and spiritual darkness that followed the encounter, and what ultimately helped her find freedom, peace, and hope in Christ.

This episode is not about sensationalism or speculation. It is an honest conversation about fear, faith, spiritual warfare, and the lasting impact unexplained experiences can have on a person’s life. Whether you’ve had an experience of your own or are simply seeking a biblical perspective on the phenomenon, Leah’s testimony offers encouragement that no darkness is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

  • 006: What If They’re Real? – Part 5: Tangible or Spiritual?

The finale of the What If They’re Real? series asks one final question: Are these phenomena truly physical, spiritual, or somehow both? We explore the surprising nature of matter itself, why UFO reports often describe objects that appear both tangible and intangible, and how these accounts compare with biblical descriptions of angels and the unseen realm. From physical trace cases and reported debris to apports, spiritual manifestations, and the resurrection body of Christ, this episode examines whether Scripture provides a framework for understanding these mysteries. As the series concludes, we step back to reflect on the evidence, the biblical worldview, and why discernment matters more than ever.

  • 005: What If They’re Real? – Part 4: The Messages From the Visitors

For decades, people claiming contact with mysterious visitors have reported remarkably similar messages: humanity was created by advanced beings, Jesus was only one enlightened teacher, all religions lead to the same truth, and mankind is evolving into something greater. In this episode, we examine these recurring claims, compare them with Scripture, and ask an important question: if these encounters are genuine, why do their teachings so consistently challenge the core truths of the Christian faith? Join us as we explore one of the most fascinating and spiritually significant aspects of the UFO phenomenon: the message itself.

  • 004: What If They’re Real? – Part 3: Abductions, Disclosure, and the Modern Narrative

As public interest in UFOs continues to grow through congressional hearings, whistleblowers, and calls for “disclosure,” one question remains: What story are we being encouraged to believe? In this episode, we examine the modern phenomenon of alleged alien abductions, the striking similarities in reported experiences, and the spiritual messages that often accompany them. We also explore what government disclosure does and does not prove, compare the modern narrative with a biblical worldview, and discuss why Christians should approach these claims with both curiosity and discernment.

  • 003: What If They’re Real? – Part 2: Aliens, Elohim, and the Spiritual Question

What are “aliens,” really? Before asking whether extraterrestrial life exists, we first need to define our terms. In this episode, we explore the biblical concept of elohim and how Scripture describes created beings that are not human and not of this earth. From angels and cherubim to the divine council, we examine how the Bible’s supernatural worldview differs from modern ideas about extraterrestrials. Along the way, we consider whether the UFO phenomenon is better understood through a spiritual lens than a technological one, challenging listeners to think carefully about the evidence, the terminology, and what the Bible actually teaches.
