Laksmivan Das has been a Hare Krishna devotee for over 40 years. He is a musician, photographer, and teaches traditional devotional music called Kirtan.  He and I discuss his first encounter with the Hare Krishna movement, chanting the names of God (known as sankritan), and the meaning of spirituality.
