Growing up in Arnheim NL, Samuel van der Maas was eager to appear in the famous 1960s war film "A Bridge too far". In his youth he would then learn that bridges can be hard to be built over troubled waters, witnessing how students threw themselves off his student dorm at university. When he struggled with life the idea of going to and over the top crept up, however, his faith intervened. In the belief in Jesus Christ, Samuel van der Maas found his lifelong bridgemaker. What deeds has this spiritual fellowship led him to so far?
