It has been a minute friends but I’m happy we’re back and ready to discuss the chaos that was the Oscars this year.  Today we are getting into some of the terrible legal takes I saw on twitter this week about Will Smith slapping the shit out of Chris Rock.  We start with the issue of why legally this wasn’t an assault in the way you think it was, move onto “victimless crimes” and close out with my favorite topic of free speech and the first amendment.  So come hang and listen to some pop culture legal analysis.
