An excellent, albeit relatively short-lived, half-hour sustained (no sponsor.. network picked up the tab) series of mystery and suspense stories starring Ernest Chapelle as our narrator and often the actor. Written by Wyllis Cooper who also penned "Lights Out" series... these stories today are considered among the most creative and unique of all radio mystery-suspense programs. Here is the Valentine's Day show from Feb. 13, 1949. Audio is not top quality, very few of the remaining episodes are, it is still intelligible. This story "Valentine" is about the love between two historical figures... after and before death!
