Raise your hand if you know that there is a National Quitter’s Day. This is not the day that celebrates quitting smoking, drinking, or any other bad health habit. No, this is the day that marks the annual end of most New Year’s resolutions. While we may enter the New Year with resolve to make a new start, by the second Friday of January, National Quitter’s Day, our resolve fails. Thankfully, our God does not participate in Quitter’s Day! He is here for us every single morning we live on this earth, to renew us with His love, mercy, and forgiveness. His steadfast character enables us to rest knowing that all of our needs, cares and fears are met in Him. And, when our days are finished here, He provides us our eternal home with Him. Our God never quits.
