Joy Reid leads The ReidOut tonight with Trump lawyer John Eastman, who is the expected target of an upcoming subpoena from the committee investigating Jan. 6. Lauren Windsor, creator and executive producer of the political reporting web show TheUndercurrent.tv, joins us with new footage she has recorded of Eastman discussing Jan. 6. Rep. Adam Schiff of the House select committee investigating the Capitol insurrection also joins us with his analysis. Then, Rep. Ro Khanna, deputy whip for the House Progressive Caucus, gives us an update on the status of the Build Back Better plan. Next, Terry McAuliffe, Democratic candidate for governor in Virginia, joins us on the close race he he battling against Trump-backed Republican, Glenn Youngkin, who McAuliffe calls "dangerous." We then turn to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, in which Kenosha County judge, Bruce Schroeder, is causing a controversy by stating that the three men Rittenhouse shot during a Black Lives Matter protest can be labeled rioters, looters or arsonists if the defense can prove it, but they should not be called victims because, he said it is a "loaded" word.
