R6 Esports is trying to model League of Legends. With the announcement of a new regional league in Europe, its clear that the four regional leagues for R6 will operate in a similar way to the global League of Legends structure.
Riot has been incredibly successful with their model but the reason they haven't been copied by more esports is that most don't have the popularity to support four individual regional leagues. Let's see if R6 can make it happen.
