Rabel McNutt: Starting A Non-Profit At Age 10, Lessons From The Front #066

Listen Later

When Rabel McNutt was seven years old, she attended the funeral for her Godfather, Walter D. Ehlers, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery in Normandy in June 1944 following D Day. From this, a spark of service was born: How can we honor the last Medal of Honor recipient from World War II with a state funeral? A few years later, Rabel managed to do just that with the passing of 1945 Medal of Honor recipient Hershel "Woody" Williams. On this edition of Lessons From The Front, hear how even the smallest of servants can make a big difference. These are Rabel's Lessons From The Front.
