Just as Europeans had a system of value for grading human life in slavery, racism, and sexism, the U.S. politics of both the Republican and Democratic Parties continue to put humanity on a scale which perpetuates inequalities, oppression and disenfranchisement of non-white, non-male and non-cis-het people.
