Rachel Schneider is the director of the Ipswich River Watershed.
Rachel is an artist, graphic designer, and long-time lover of the Ipswich River. She has spent many happy hours paddling up- and downriver from her hometown of Middleton. Rachel holds a BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art and brings her talents for storytelling and visual communication to the organization. From her start at the Ipswich River Watershed Association in 2017, Rachel has built up the organization’s events, community engagement, and no-cost Floating Classroom education program. She lives in Haverhill on the mighty Merrimack River and is an expert on green gardening and resident-led restoration.
