This week we continue Women’s History Month with reigning Miss Utah USA and mental health advocate, Rachel Slawson. Rachel made history when she came out as the first openly bisexual Miss USA contestant breaking the mold of what was expected in the pageant world. Rachel’s trail blazing hasn’t stopped there, her “I AM WHY” campaign challenges us all to stop turning a blind eye to the mental health issues that plague our society. Rachel shares her battle with eating disorders, suicidal ideation and bipolar disorder to inspire others to take control of their own lives.
