Rachelle Ramirez is a writer and certified editor. When Rachelle was 15, her mother gave her an impossible choice: "Raise your baby brother as your own, or I'm giving him up for adoption." This experience led Rachelle to pursue questions that show up repeatedly in her writing: How can we craft better endings? And do we have any control over how things end?

While "the unexamined life is not worth living," is a stronger stance than I take, I do believe the examined life allows a person to get smarter about how to live it. 

So, that's what I do here—reflect on my life or something from life. My hope is that my public reflections prompt your own private reflections and that together we build a life with a little more breathing room, a little more intelligence, a little more forgiveness for ourselves and those we love.
