I recorded this podcast for my class, “multidimensional midwifery in the prenatal period: how to prepare yourself for prenatal complications,” as our students were studying pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome.

I came across Rachel Bandstra, on one of our Indie Birth Facebook groups who was (briefly) sharing her story of having prenatal eclampsia in her first pregnancy. I wanted to interview her and hear her story since full-blown seizures in pregnancy is pretty rare and I wanted to learn all I can! Thanks, Rachel!
