Racial Reconciliation: Part 4

Listen Later

Ford Taylor and Patrick Williams, with guest Greg McAfee, continue to talk about Racial Reconciliation in America. Greg McAfee made a public mistake on social media due to unintentional bias and ignorance. He talks through how he learned to listen to others’ pain and change his heart. He made a commitment to make intentional change and is moving forward from his past mistakes.

Questions explored in this episode:

  1. What little things can I do to bring change?
  2. How can I be a part of the solution?
  3. How can we come together to bring about change?
  4. Can we listen to another person’s story?
  5. Can we stay at the table and have the tough conversations?

Greg McAfee is an award-winning entrepreneur and has a passion for helping fellow HVAC owners take their businesses to new heights. In 1990, Greg started McAfee Heating and Air with $274 and a used truck. Today, Greg runs one of the most successful HVAC companies in the Midwest and has taken his company to #1 in the residential market. He is called upon to share his expertise with other business owners all over the US. He is a regular columnist in DucTales Magazine and the HVACR Business Magazine. Greg is the inventor of the business game TOBGOB, an innovative board game entrepreneurs use to teach their teams how to act like an entrepreneur and boost productivity in the process. Greg McAfee’s company, McAfee Heating and Air, has twice been named “Best Place to Work” in Dayton, Ohio.
