Like many of you, I’ve been reeling. So many emotions have surfaced in response to the recent events surrounding the murder of George Floyd and ensuing social unrest. I’ve been pensive to talk about these things publicly because of fear that I might say something unintentionally offensive to my African American friends. But greater than that fear is my belief that my true intent is to love my neighbor and be a part of the healing in our country.

May we continue to gain clarity and perspective in these critical times.
