I have been away from podcasting, building up my business. It is now called Cool Calm Pets. I truly want to invite you into the world of Mo. I was afraid to be honest about my experiences because when you make a stand, or call something out, for some reason, it makes people uncomfortable. That something is called racism and prejudice actions from other businesses towards businesses of color. Racism suffocates the economic system when you starve other businesses or harass them.

There is no comfort going on right now for a lot of people and especially animals. On the positive note, I work with some amazing grooming salons and other pet stores that understand the importance of skincare. If it is wasn't for this type of support, I would not be in business. Speaking out about the truth of my experiences encourages you to get to know me and what I stand for.

I am in an actual battle that I face daily here in Colorado. Winning the hearts of new customers must come from building trust within my brand especially since I am a black woman. I want the world to know that there is much work that needs to be done--especially in animal medicine and working with plants and holistic care. If I do not speak out against the racism I am experiencing with certain buyers, event planners, and other business owners, I would not be telling you the truth.

I have a busy schedule and want to do more to connect with so many people. This is platform is a great way to help engage my fans, friends, and family that appreciate me and want to hear my voice.
